Corporate History
Founded in 2006 – Frédérick Bernard and Ludovic Ortuño founded CIDEP, based in downtown Montreal at 1274 Jean-Talon East.
2007 – Jason Rose joins the CIDEP team as Vice President Sales for the US & UK market.
2007 – CIDEP established business relations with more than 15 clients around Europe including major economic development agencies in France and the UK such as SEEDA (South East of England) and Adielor (Lorraine Foreign Investment Development Agency).
2007 – CIDEP establishes a strong long term partnership with the French Group SALVEO (www.salveo.fr) and help them enter the Canadian market.
2008 – CIDEP entered the American market and signed a contract of representation in Canada with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
2008 – CIDEP was selected by the Arizona Department of Commerce as the official state representative in Canada for its Trade & Investment activities.
2009 – CIDEP entered the Spanish market and established important business collaboration for its leads generation with the Casilla-La Mancha region (Best of CLM).
2010 – CIDEP became the official representative in Canada for France’s Vaucluse Department’s Economic Development Agency, also known as Vaucluse Development.
2010 – CIDEP became the official representative in Canada for Enterprise Florida, the Economic Development Agency for the State of Florida.
2010 – CIDEP opens its second Canadian office, in Toronto, and welcomes Lou Caporusso in its team as Executive Director.
